Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search box is sent to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its response. We do not retain a separate log of those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent directly to us may be kept long enough to answer and maintain the exchange. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Normal server operation creates limited technical information when a visitor loads a page:
- Page-view dates and times
- Browser name and version
- Device class and operating system
- IP address presented by the device
- Visited pages and approximate time on them
- A referring site, when one is supplied
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. They and analytics services help combine traffic information, such as which resources are read most often and where visits end. Browser controls can block cookies, although disabling them may change how some features work.
What We Do With This Data
- Routing an initiated search to the selected provider
- Maintaining site availability and speed
- Finding and repairing technical faults
- Measuring which resources visitors use
- Presenting advertising that may reflect general interests
No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not build, keep, or sell a personal criminal-record database. The published material identifies official Tyler County and Texas channels, including the sheriff, court clerks, Texas DPS Crime Records Division, and Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party criminal profiles, and this resource is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search tools. Information submitted through one of those boxes is governed by that provider’s privacy terms. Its retention, sharing, pricing, and processing decisions are outside our control, so review the provider’s policy before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links can lead to Tyler County offices, Texas agencies, courts, outside services, or legal resources. Once a visitor follows one, the destination’s privacy policy applies. Check it before providing personal details.
Some advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select ads. We do not operate those tracking systems.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:
- Analytics vendors measuring traffic and performance
- Search providers processing a query a visitor starts
- Advertising networks placing content on a page
- A government or law-enforcement body acting under a valid legal demand
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, commonly used safeguards protect the data we handle. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so we cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If such information is identified, it will be removed after a valid request.
Your Data Rights
Applicable law may provide rights over certain personal data. Texas Government Code Chapter 552 governs public information held by government bodies, while Chapter 411 limits dissemination of criminal-history information. Those official-record laws do not turn this private resource into a government custodian. Subject to the law that applies, a visitor may:
- Request deletion of eligible data
- Ask to review personal information held about them
- Seek correction of inaccurate information
- Opt out of processing where a law grants that choice
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as practices or laws change. The current wording and its effective date will be posted here.
