Why We Built This Site
Texas law permits access to many records, yet access depends on the custodian. Tyler County has no single criminal-history database. The Sheriff keeps its own reports and jail data. The District Clerk holds felony files, while the County Clerk supplies Class A and B misdemeanor copies. Texas DPS runs the statewide criminal-history repository, TDCJ reports state custody, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry publishes registration data. We arrange verified contact details, official links, fees, and request steps by record owner.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to a Texas court, sheriff's office, police department, or state agency. There are firm limits on what we can do:
- We do not retrieve official criminal records or conduct official checks
- We cannot submit expunction petitions or public-record requests for a visitor
- We do not certify court papers, criminal histories, or other government documents
- We cannot advise anyone about the legal effect of a charge or case
- We cannot promise that an agency will not change its fees, hours, contacts, or procedures
An official copy must come from its Tyler County custodian or Texas DPS. We can identify that office, but cannot issue the document.
